Fribourg coins catalog with values online
In the 4th-7th centuries, the Alamanni lived in this territory to the east of the Are River, and the Burgundians to the west, and this natural border still divides the bilingual city into German and French parts.
In the 12th century, Count Berold IV founded the capital on the model of the city of Freiburg in Breisgau. In German it is called that, and in French it is called Friborg.
In 1218, Friborg came under the rule of the counts of Kyburg, and in 1277 - to the Habsburgs. Since 1452 the city has been under the rule of Savoy.
In 1481, Friborg joined the Swiss Confederation.
During the Reformation era, the canton adhered to Catholicism.
In 1798, Fribourg became part of the
Helvetic Republic.
Since 1803 - one of the cantons of the

The value of the coins is approximate. Most often, it is simply the price for which I once bought this particular coin. You can use it to estimate similar coins (of the same type), but remember that the value is affected by many factors, such as condition and minting date. The price of coins of even the same type can vary greatly depending on the number of surviving examples.
Coins of Fribourg presented on this page are not sold or bought - this is only a catalog.
